About me

I started my training as a carpenter in a small family business specialized in furniture. The affinity to wood with its many facets  has been put to good use during my longtime employment at "Steinway & Sons" in Hamburg.

In 2015, I followed my long time dream - the manufacturing of tobacco pipes by hand.

Since then I am creating my own pipes of simple beauty in a small workshop in Hamburg Altona. Color and grain of the wood are shown to their fullest during each processing step until a unique tobacco pipe with a handmade decorative ring is created.
